Tutor LMS – Course Material Element
Overview
The Course Material element in Tutor LMS allows instructors to share additional learning resources with students. These materials can include PDFs, Word documents, images, videos, or external links, helping learners get extra study content beyond the course lessons. This element also includes custom styling, icons, labels, and alignment options.

Available Controls
Content Controls
- Enable/Disable Course Material – Show or hide the section.
- Custom Label – Set a custom heading (e.g., “Course Resources,” “Study Materials”).
- Enable Icons – Display file-type-specific icons (PDF, Word, etc.).
- Enable Download Button – Add a direct download button for each material.
- Enable External Links – Allow instructors to add links to external resources.
- Restrict Access – Option to show materials only to enrolled students.
Style Controls
Label Styling
- Label Text Color – Customize the color of the section heading.
- Label Typography – Adjust font size, weight, and style.
File List Styling
- File Name Color – Change the color of file names.
- Icon Size & Color – Customize icons based on file type.
- Spacing & Layout – Adjust spacing between materials for better readability.
Button Styling
- Download Button Color – Set button text and background color.
- Button Hover Effects – Add hover color or animation.
- Alignment Options – Align content left, center, or right.
Dynamic Behavior
- Automatically lists course materials uploaded by the instructor.
- If no materials are available, the section remains hidden.
- Students can download files or visit external links directly.
- If access is restricted, non-enrolled users see a message like “Enroll to access materials.”
