Tutor LMS – Course Category Element
Overview
The Course Category element in Tutor LMS displays the category of the current course. This allows users to see the course’s classification, making it easier to navigate through different topics.

Available Controls
Content Controls
- Category Label – Customize the text label before the category (e.g., “Category:”).
- Category Separator – Choose a separator (comma, slash, or bullet) if multiple categories exist.
- Enable Link – Option to link categories to their respective archive pages.
- Alignment – Set alignment (Left, Center, Right).
Style Controls
- Label Color – Customize the color of the category label.
- Category Text Color – Change the color of the category name.
- Typography – Adjust font size, weight, and style for both label and category name.
- Spacing – Control the spacing between the label and category name.
- Background & Border – Add a background color or border around the category text.
Dynamic Behavior
- The Course Category element automatically fetches and displays the category of the currently displayed course.
- If a course belongs to multiple categories, they are displayed based on the selected separator.
- If no category is assigned, it can show a default message or remain hidden.
Use Case
- Ideal for Course Detail Pages to show the course classification.
- Helps in better course organization and navigation.
