How to Create and Use a Lesson Template with LearnDash Using Bricks
- Preparation: Ensure that the LearnDash plugin, the Bricks Extended Addon plugin, and the Bricks theme are installed and activated on your website.
- Accessing Bricks Templates:
- Navigate to the WordPress dashboard, where you’ll see the Bricks menu in the sidebar.
- Go to Bricks > Templates.
- Click on Add New to create a new template. Name it “Lesson Page” (or another relevant name).
- Click on Edit with Bricks to open the template in the Bricks builder.
- Configuring the Template:
- Once in the Bricks builder view, click on the Settings icon at the top of the screen.
- Go to Template Settings and then select Conditions.
- Set the condition by choosing Post Type and selecting Lesson. This ensures that the template will apply to LearnDash lesson pages.
- Adding LearnDash Elements:
- To incorporate LearnDash elements into your lesson page, click on the Plus icon at the top.
Search for the desired LearnDash elements, such as LD Lesson Content, LD Lesson Materials, and others, and add them to your template as needed.
